Hints that teach you
Stuck on a cell? A hint points to the exact technique that solves it, from naked singles to X-Wings, and explains the logic in plain words, so you get better with every puzzle.
Sudoku Turbo is a free online Sudoku game that also works offline: five difficulty levels, a new daily challenge, a leaderboard and hints that explain the logic behind every move. Choose your language to start playing.
Every puzzle is rated by the techniques you need to solve it, not just by the number of givens, so each level feels consistent from one grid to the next.
Easy puzzles start with 36 or more numbers and can be solved with singles alone: find the one cell where a digit fits. Ideal for learning, or for a quick, relaxing game.
Medium puzzles have 30 to 35 givens. Besides singles, you will need intersections: when a digit is confined to one row or column inside a box, it can be removed from the rest of that line, and the other way round.
Hard puzzles have 28 to 31 givens and call for subsets: naked and hidden pairs and triples that let you clear candidates from the cells around them.
Expert puzzles have 24 to 29 givens and cannot be finished without advanced patterns such as the X-Wing and the XY-Wing.
Master puzzles have 25 givens or fewer and combine every technique, X-Wing and XY-Wing included. Still solvable by logic alone: a real test for experienced players.

See the leaderboardA Sudoku grid has 81 cells divided into nine 3×3 boxes. Fill every empty cell with a digit from 1 to 9 so that each row, each column and each box contains every digit exactly once. Every puzzle has a single solution that you can reach by logic alone, without guessing. Start with easy Sudoku to learn the basics, then move up to medium, hard, expert and master grids as your skills grow.
Read the full rules and solving techniquesYes. Every level, the daily challenge and the hints are free, and you can play without creating an account. An account is only needed to save your scores on the leaderboard.
Only for the first visit. After that, Sudoku Turbo works fully offline: puzzles are generated on your device, and your games and statistics are stored locally. Only the leaderboard needs a connection: a ranked game starts online, and if you finish it offline, its score is sent as soon as you reconnect.
There is no fixed list. A new puzzle is generated on your device each time you start a game, checked to have exactly one solution, and rated by the techniques it requires. You will never run out of grids.
Yes. Turn on Notes to write candidates in a cell, use Undo to step back, and let the game highlight conflicts and identical digits. In the settings you can also choose a limit of three mistakes or play without one.
If you are new to Sudoku, start with easy puzzles: singles alone are enough to solve them. When they feel quick, move up one level at a time. Whenever you get stuck, ask for a hint: it shows the next logical step and names the technique, so you learn it for the next grid.
